The State Bank of India (SBI), India's leading lender, has launched 'SBI STAR' (Staff Talent Acknowledgement & Recognition), an annual award dedicated to honoring employees who excel beyond their professional duties.

This award aligns with SBI's dedication to comprehensive employee engagement and celebrates exceptional talents in arts, literature, games, culture, social work, and environmental efforts, as highlighted by SBI Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty during the launch.

Incorporating a fair and structured selection process, 'SBI STAR' encourages employees to self-nominate, with finalists chosen by the Corporate Centre in Mumbai. This initiative seeks to inspire pride and motivation across SBI's workforce, the largest in India's BFSI sector.
