LG Electronics Inc. is set to provide state-of-the-art heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, along with artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, to a developing smart city in Dubai. This collaboration, reported by Pulse, the English service of Maeil Business News Korea, marks a strategic partnership with the Expo City Dubai Authority.

Positioning LG as a key player across business-to-consumer, business-to-business, and business-to-government segments in the Middle East, this agreement follows insights shared at the Korea-UAE Business Roundtable on expanding AI-driven technologies and infrastructure.

LG draws on its regional experience, having supplied LED signage and household appliances for Expo 2020 Dubai. The smart city project spans 3.5 square kilometers and will accommodate 35,000 residents, underlining the UAE's vision for a sustainable future through AI and renewable energy.
