Akasa Air has announced it has secured the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, underscoring its commitment to safety and operational excellence.
IOSA, an initiative established by IATA to assess airlines' operational management and control processes, covers pivotal areas such as flight operations, engineering, and cabin procedures, among others.
Since launching flights in August 2022, Akasa Air has rapidly expanded, currently operating a fleet of 30 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, and its voluntary pursuit of IOSA certification marks a significant milestone in its evolving journey.
