Gold Prices Surge in National Capital Amid Global Trends

In a significant economic development, gold prices in the national capital surged by Rs 1,300, reaching Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams on Friday. This uptick aligns with firm global trends, as reported by the All India Sarafa Association.
Closing at Rs 1,31,600 per 10 grams on Thursday, the precious metal of 99.9 percent purity witnessed a substantial price increase. Meanwhile, local bullion markets observed a marked rise in silver prices, which jumped by Rs 3,500 to reach Rs 1,83,500 per kilogram.
Globally, the spot price of gold rose by USD 15.10, or 0.36 percent, to USD 4,223.76 per ounce. Silver also achieved a higher trading price, increasing by 1.82 percent to reach USD 58.17 per ounce, indicative of a bullish trend in precious metals.
