On Saturday, the domestic airline IndiGo announced the cancellation of its flight services from Tirupati to Hyderabad and back, alongside its Vijayawada to Delhi route. The decision affected around 1,000 passengers, with timely interventions to manage the disruption, including providing essential amenities.

According to Tirupati Airport Director D Boominathan, 10 flights were canceled on Friday. However, the airport managed to evade congestion despite a handful of delays by issuing advance notifications to passengers.

In Vijayawada, Airport Director Lakshmikanth Reddy reported a singular cancellation to Delhi, with remaining flights operating with delays. Despite setbacks, the airline ensured passenger comfort by arranging food, water, and accommodation.
