IndiGo has reimbursed Rs 610 crore for flights that were either cancelled or substantially delayed, and has efficiently delivered 3,000 pieces of baggage to various passengers nationwide, the government announced on Sunday.

The aviation sector is steadily heading back towards complete normalcy, with measures in place to ensure the stability of ongoing operations.

The directive from the government required IndiGo to finalise refunds by Sunday evening and to return misplaced baggage within two days. Other airlines are functioning efficiently, while IndiGo's operations restored from 706 flights on Friday to 1,565 by Saturday, with expectations to reach 1,650 flights by Sunday evening.
