During the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced ambitious economic plans for the state.
He aims for Telangana to contribute 10% to the national GDP by 2047, drawing inspiration from China's Guang-Dong province known for its rapid growth.
The strategy involves dividing the state into three zones for services, manufacturing, and agriculture, collectively known as the CURE, PURE, RARE model.
Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed the Centre's support, citing India's rise as the world's fourth largest economy, working towards the third position.
The summit saw participation from key figures like Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Karnataka Deputy CM D K Shivakumar.
