Despite the imposition of anti-dumping duties by several countries, marine exports have seen a remarkable growth of 20% in recent months, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
During Question Hour, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized the government's focused efforts to boost marine fish exports.
He highlighted that in the past year alone, 102 marine fish export establishments have been registered in the European Union, and 25 similar establishments have been approved in Russia, indicating a promising trajectory for further export growth.
