Remal Alcast Pvt. Ltd. has inaugurated its high-tech integrated aluminium billet casthouse at Vile Bhagad in Maharashtra, marking a significant leap in India's aluminium industry. Under the Remal brand and supported by the Star Group, this facility aims to enhance India's aluminium manufacturing with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Engineered in collaboration with Almex Inc., USA, and Swastik Furnaces Pvt. Ltd., India, the new plant integrates advanced casting technology to deliver metal purity and billet metallurgy precision. The facility currently produces primary remelt aluminium homogenized billets, soon expanding to customized alloy development, with plans to also integrate renewable energy components to produce low-carbon billets by November 2026.

The casthouse, part of a USD 50 million project, is set to create approximately 400 jobs and aligns with India's Make in India and circular economy frameworks. Certified under AS9100D, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, the plant targets key sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy, promising sustainable excellence in aluminium production.
