Automakers Announce New Year Price Hike Amid Rising Costs

JSW MG Motor India announced plans to raise vehicle prices by up to 2% starting January 1, 2026. The decision is aimed at offsetting the ongoing surge in input costs.
The price adjustment will vary depending on the model and variant, according to a statement released by the automaker.
Additionally, luxury carmakers Mercedes-Benz India and BMW have revealed similar plans to increase vehicle prices next month due to escalating costs.
