Special Trains to Connect Guwahati and Aizawl for Christmas Festivities

Mizoram's Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalvena announced two special train services to run between Guwahati and Aizawl during the upcoming Christmas festivities, accommodating increased commuter demand.
At the request of the lawmaker, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw approved the proposal, ensuring service on December 22, 24, 23, and 25.
This move is set to benefit residents seeking to return home for Christmas and New Year, especially amid ethnic tensions in Manipur.
