Massive Blaze Guts Ethanol Factory in Sonepur
A fire severely damaged an ethanol manufacturing factory in Odisha's Sonepur district. The blaze erupted in the dryer's section on Wednesday night, causing extensive harm. Officials report no casualties, and while the fire was extinguished by morning, its cause remains unknown and investigations are ongoing.

An ethanol factory in Sonepur, Odisha, faced significant destruction due to a fire that broke out late Wednesday night, officials reported. The incident occurred at around 11:35 PM in the facility's dryer section located in the Panamura area.
While no injuries or fatalities were recorded, the damage assessment is underway to evaluate the impact on the remaining sections of the factory. The blaze, which started in the dryer section, completely destroyed that part of the plant.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the origins of the blaze, which was successfully extinguished by 7 AM on Thursday.
