Operational since December 25, the airport has also handled 734 air traffic movements and 22.21 tonnes of cargo, showcasing effective passenger and cargo integration.

Navi Mumbai International Airport has achieved a notable milestone by handling over 1 lakh passengers within just 19 days of launching commercial flight operations. This impressive figure, as of January 12, includes 55,934 passenger arrivals and 53,983 departures, marking significant travel demand from the region.
The facility, operated by Navi Mumbai International Airport Ltd (NMIA), recorded its busiest day on January 10, welcoming 7,345 travelers. The operation's success is underscored by 734 air traffic movements during the period from December 25, when the airport first began its services, to January 12.
With a focus on modern infrastructure and operational efficiency, the airport is scaling its services. NMIA managed 22.21 tonnes of cargo, a testament to its integrated approach. Popular routes include Delhi, Goa, and Bengaluru, further enhancing its strategic connectivity and operational ramp-up.
