Record Institutional Investments Surge in Indian Real Estate
Indian real estate saw an unprecedented 68% increase in institutional investments, reaching USD 3.73 billion in Q4 2025, according to Vestian. The year 2025 witnessed a total of USD 8.1 billion in institutional investments, showcasing strong investor confidence in India's economic fundamentals and sustainability-focused development.

Indian real estate experienced a significant surge in institutional investments during the final quarter of 2025, as reported by Vestian, a US-based real estate consultancy. Investments rose by 68 percent from the previous year, reaching a record USD 3.73 billion from USD 2,216.3 million in the same period in 2024.
This remarkable growth contributed to a total of USD 8.1 billion in institutional investments for the entire year of 2025, marking the highest in history. Shrinivas Rao, CEO of Vestian, highlighted that this achievement emphasizes persistent investor confidence in India's economic prospects and sustainability-led development.
Commercial assets were a significant contributor, accounting for 63 percent of investments in 2025, with their value increasing by 113 percent to USD 5.1 billion. This trend was particularly notable in Q4, where they represented 61 percent of total inflows, valued at USD 2.3 billion, driven by demand from GCCs.
