Union Minister Piyush Goyal commemorated the achievement, emphasizing the initiative's transformative impact on job creation and economic empowerment. With India now being the third-largest startup ecosystem globally, Rs 15 lakh crore in funding has been pivotal in overcoming bureaucratic challenges and fostering entrepreneurship.
Launched in 2016, the initiative has expanded from a few ventures to over 200,000 recognized startups, spreading opportunities into Tier-II and Tier-III cities. Minister Goyal expressed confidence in future growth, citing strong international trade partnerships as key to unlocking further potential for Indian startups to leave a global mark.
