Tata Communications announced a significant financial performance boost this Wednesday, reporting a 55% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 365.28 crore for the fiscal quarter ended December 2025. This marks a notable rise from the Rs 235.96 crore profit recorded in the previous year.
The company's success this quarter, according to Managing Director and CEO AS Lakshminarayanan, is credited to a disciplined approach focused on data-led growth, expanding margins, and a robust order book. He emphasized that investments in capability shifts are translating into superior products and execution for their clientele. The profit margin saw an upswing to 5.9% from 4.4% in the prior year.
Chief Financial Officer Kabir Ahmed Shakir highlighted that a continual focus on capital efficiency has bolstered Tata Communications' balance sheet, thereby supporting its growth initiatives. Additionally, the company revealed that Ganesh Lakshminarayanan will succeed the current CFO upon his retirement in April 2026.
