Lucknow Metro's East-West Corridor Gets a Boost with First Consultancy Contract

The first consultancy contract for Lucknow Metro's East-West Corridor has been awarded to the joint venture of AYESA Ingenieria Arquitectura SAU and AYESA India Pvt Ltd by the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC).
AYESA emerged as the lowest bidder for the Detailed Design Consultant contract under Phase 1B of the East-West Corridor project, valued at Rs 15.90 crore. The project will connect Charbagh Railway Station and Vasant Kunj over an 11.165-km corridor featuring 12 stations.
Slated for completion across a 60-month contract period, the project will involve both elevated and underground stretches with detailed design responsibilities covering civil, architectural, electrical and traction works.
