The South Western Railway has announced an extension for the Mysuru-Ajmer-Mysuru Express Special to manage the expected surge of passengers during the upcoming Holi and summer season. The Railway Board approved 17 additional trips, preserving the current route and fare structure, with updated schedules and stopovers.

Previously scheduled to operate until January 31, 2026, the train will now run on select Tuesdays between February and May. This strategic move by the railway division headquartered in Hubballi aims to ease travel demands during peak times.

The express will serve vital stops including Vasai Road, Surat, and Vadodara Junction among others, enhancing connectivity. This extension reflects a proactive approach to accommodate public travel needs in the region.
