A supposed early morning 'joyride' in an SUV turned into a tragic series of events near Bengaluru, leading to a devastating pile-up that resulted in seven fatalities, according to police sources on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday on the Hoskote-Dabaspet Highway, involving six students aged between 16 and 18. Ayan Ali, allegedly the underage driver of the SUV, reportedly drove at speeds of 150-160 kmph when he collided with a motorcycle from behind.
Heart-wrenching scenes unfolded at MVJ Hospital as the families gathered in mourning, grappling with the unexpected loss of their loved ones, who had embarked on a secretive outing unbeknownst to their families. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
