Manish Mishra, aged 20, and Anita, aged 25, residents of Shravasti district, were returning from Lodheshwar Mahadeva Temple when their motorcycle lost balance, hitting another bike. The second motorcycle carried Ajit (23) and Sunny (20), both from Unnao district, who had also visited the temple.
Constables Harivansh and Shubham Yadav, trailing behind on their bike, failed to stop in time, colliding with the two motorcycles. The injured were later transferred to the district hospital due to their critical condition, as confirmed by Dr. Praveen Srivastava from the Primary Health Centre.
