In a devastating incident, a bus crash in South Africa's Limpopo province has left at least four individuals dead and 31 others injured, according to local authorities. The bus, en route from Gauteng to Zimbabwe, veered off the N1 highway and into a ditch near the border with Zimbabwe.
Provincial transport minister Violet Mathye confirmed the fatalities and stated that additional injured passengers have been transferred to nearby hospitals. 'We will provide further updates as they become available,' she informed SABC.
The cause of this unfortunate accident is still under investigation. This event echoes a similar disaster from last October, where 42 people tragically lost their lives in the same area.
