Khushtech Korea Accelerates India's D2M Mobile Revolution

Khushtech Korea is set to start mass production of its Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) feature phones in India, having completed pre-production at its Navi Mumbai factory. The company, now India's first to receive BIS certification for these phones, plans to enhance production capacity and develop more advanced D2M devices.

Khushtech Korea has announced the commencement of mass production for its Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) feature phones in India. This follows successful pre-production at its partner factory in Navi Mumbai, marking a significant milestone as the first company in India to achieve BIS certification for D2M feature phones.

The factory's production capacity has been boosted by relocating to a new facility, which can produce up to three million D2M feature phones annually. The company is establishing a dedicated production line to cater exclusively to its burgeoning D2M portfolio.

CEO Eric Shin expressed the company's strategic focus on building the D2M ecosystem in India, with plans to develop advanced versions of D2M devices. These include a second version with enhanced features and a third with AI capabilities, targeted for completion by 2026.
