Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called on district collectors to prioritize attracting industrial investments to the state. During the sixth District Collectors' Conference, Naidu emphasized that increased investments would lead to more employment opportunities, boosting the per capita income of residents.
The government plans to develop Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati as major economic zones to drive industrial and economic progress. Key officials have been appointed to oversee development in these regions, working closely with district collectors to speed up the approval processes and ensure essential infrastructure like water supply is available.
Naidu also announced district-wise rankings to foster competition in attracting investments and discussed plans for industrial clusters in locations like Orvakal and Kadapa. He criticized the previous administration's policies for deterring investors and underscored the need for strategic development plans tailored to each district's unique strengths.
