Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan firmly declared on Thursday that Turkey will oppose any endeavors to initiate a civil war in Iran. Addressing the media during a joint press conference with his German counterpart, Fidan clarified Turkey's position.

"We stand against efforts aimed at inciting a civil war in Iran and fomenting disputes along ethnic and religious cleavages," he stated emphatically. Warning against reckless actions, Fidan underscored the potential hazards of such attempts.

In his warning, Fidan stressed that pursuing such fantasies would be intolerable. Turkey is committed to maintaining stability in the region and discourages provocations that could lead to conflict.
