Luxury Rails: A Perk or a Privilege?

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw clarified official travel entitlements on India's luxury trains like the Palace on Wheels and Maharaja Express in a Lok Sabha session.
Responding to Tamil Nadu MP VS Matheswaran, Vaishnaw emphasized adherence to the Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986, for officials traveling with families.
He also apprised the house of the progress at Karur Junction, citing completed development projects under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
