In a major advancement for the agricultural sector, IFFCO, one of the largest farmer-owned cooperatives globally, has introduced a novel range of indigenously developed Nano NPK fertilisers. This pioneering effort underscores India's commitment to sustainable and self-reliant farming practices.
The cooperative recently unveiled two groundbreaking formulations: Nano NPK Liquid (8-8-10) and Nano NPK Granular (20-10-10), both approved under the Fertilizer Control Order. Heralded as global firsts, these fertilisers utilize both foliar and basal application methods to enhance balanced crop nutrition.
This advancement is poised to significantly boost nutrient use efficiency, promote soil health, and increase crop yields. By lessening dependency on conventional fertilisers, these nano solutions are set to lower costs, mitigate environmental impacts, and reduce India's reliance on imports amid global supply chain disruptions.
Aligned with the government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative and cooperative growth principles, IFFCO aims to fortify national agricultural resilience and support farmers through enhanced nano fertiliser technologies, contributing to inclusive growth and long-term agricultural sustainability.
