Sikkim Boosts Employee Benefits with DA, DR Hike

The Sikkim government has announced a 5% increase in dearness allowance and relief for its employees and pensioners, effective retrospectively from July 1, 2025. The DA for employees and DR for pensioners under the pre-revised structure has been increased from 252% to 257%, while the revised pay structure sees an increase from 55% to 58%.

The Sikkim government's recent announcement to raise the dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR) brings financial relief to its employees and pensioners.

According to an official notification, this 5% increase, effective from July 1, 2025, impacts those under both pre-revised and revised pay structures.

Employees and pensioners under the pre-revised structure will see their rates increase from 252% to 257%, while those under the revised structure get a hike from 55% to 58%, as indicated in a financial department circular.
