The Jammu region is grappling with severe disruptions as heavy snowfall sweeps through the area, impacting traffic significantly. The Border Roads Organisation has ramped up its snow clearance operations, especially on the vital Mughal Road, following its closure due to thick snow cover.
Conditions became more challenging after additional snowfall on Thursday, with teams working tirelessly to reopen key routes. Notably, the Basohli–Bani–Bhaderwah road has also seen intensified clearance efforts due to the heavy snow.
Landslides have further complicated the situation, particularly along the Reasi–Mahore road. The BRO is making concerted efforts to tackle these issues and restore traffic, deploying additional resources for swift resolution.
