An IndiGo flight destined for Ahmedabad faced an unexpected delay of over eight hours on Wednesday, according to officials, after a tissue paper with the word 'Danger' was discovered in the plane. The aircraft, which had just pushed back from the gate, was immediately directed to an isolation bay for a comprehensive security check.

Airport authorities engaged police forces and conducted a detailed examination of passengers, baggage, and the aircraft, but no suspicious items were discovered. A Sahar police station official reported that the finding was made just after the aircraft departed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, with an alert swiftly sent to the Mumbai police control room.

In response, a Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad was dispatched, ensuring thorough inspection protocols were observed. While investigations continue, a case against an unidentified person has been registered. IndiGo declined to provide a comment regarding the incident. The flight, scheduled to leave at 1.30 am, eventually took off at 9.48 am.
