AMS, a global talent acquisition partner, has announced plans to expand its first India-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune to over 400 professionals by the end of 2026. Currently housing around 330 professionals, this growth reflects the increasing demand in international markets such as EMEA, APAC, the Americas, and the UK. AMS stated that the expansion will occur in phases, aligning with both client demand and its global expansion strategy.
India has rapidly emerged as a leading destination for Global Capability Centres, boasting over 1,700 currently, with expectations to reach approximately 2,500 by 2030. The Pune centre will focus on operations such as Client Services Delivery, RPO Sourcing and Administration, and Talent Intelligence, maintaining a 24x5 trading model across global teams.
According to AMS CEO Gordon Stuart, the company's expansion in Pune underscores its long-term commitment to developing India-led global delivery capabilities. As skills-based and AI-enabled hiring demand rises, India is set to remain an integral part of AMS' global service delivery across numerous regions.
