Wipro Expands Horizons with Indeco Ind Spa Acquisition

Wipro Hydraulics has acquired a 100% stake in Italy-based Indeco Ind Spa to expand its offerings into the hydraulic attachments market. Indeco's expertise, established in 1976, will enhance Wipro's product range. The acquisition focuses on leveraging shared innovation and expanding global reach while retaining Indeco's operational roots.

Wipro Hydraulics, a division of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, has announced a significant acquisition, securing a 100 percent stake in Indeco Ind Spa, an Italian company known for producing hydraulic attachments.

The move is aimed at broadening Wipro's product portfolio beyond hydraulic cylinders into the hydraulic attachments sector, including products like hydraulic hammers and shears.

This strategic acquisition also includes the operational involvement of the founding Vitulano family in Indeco, marking a collaborative effort to harness innovation and expand the manufacturing footprint across Italy and the US.
