Kuwait Airways Elevates Connectivity with Reopened Airspace

Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways are resuming flights from Kuwait International Airport as airspace reopens after closures due to the Iran war. Commencing phased operations, Kuwait Airways will serve 17 destinations, while Jazeera Airways will cover nine, marking a pivotal move towards restoring full air traffic operations.

Kuwait Airways is set to resume flights from Kuwait International Airport on Sunday, marking a significant step in re-establishing connectivity as the Gulf nation reopens its airspace.

The civil aviation authority announced that the reopening is part of a phased plan to gradually increase air traffic, aiming for full operational capacity.

In a prior response to airspace closure due to the Iran war, Jazeera Airways temporarily moved operations to Saudi Arabia. With the reopening, Jazeera Airways will now resume flights from Terminal 5 in Kuwait.
