Daring Bus Hijack Attempt Thwarted in Pune
A 20-year-old named Gopal Balramsingh Rana was detained in Pune after causing panic by attempting to steal a public bus and driving it on the wrong side of the road. The incident unfolded near Deccan bus stand and is currently under investigation with possible alcohol influence being assessed.

A 20-year-old man was apprehended in Pune following a dramatic attempt to steal a passenger bus, stirring panic as he drove on the wrong side of the road Saturday evening.
The individual, identified as Gopal Balramsingh Rana, was seen commandeering a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) bus from Dengle Bridge.
Local police are investigating the incident further, notably whether alcohol played a role in the reckless driving. As of now, no casualties have been reported, with a case lodged against Rana.
