Smoke and sparks emanated from a Charminar Express coach wheel on April 25, prompting a stoppage at a Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district railway station in Telangana, officials said.
The issue, identified as brake binding, resulted in no damage or casualties, according to South Central Railway (SCR) communication.
Quick action by railway staff extinguished the smoke, allowing the train to depart for Tambaram at 20:10, maintaining passenger safety.
