Smartworks Sees Turnaround with Robust Growth in Flexible Workspaces
Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd reported a net profit of Rs 16.62 crore in Q4 of 2025-26, bouncing back from a loss last year, thanks to increased demand for flexible workspaces. The firm's annual income rose significantly, signaling a successful first year as a listed company.
Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd has shown a remarkable turnaround in its financial performance, reporting a consolidated net profit of Rs 16.62 crore for the March-ending quarter of 2025-26. This improvement comes amid a strong demand for managed flexible workspaces.
In contrast to its net loss of Rs 8.3 crore during the same quarter last year, the company's total income increased by 47% to Rs 532.70 crore in the fourth quarter. Over the 2025-26 fiscal year, Smartworks' net profit was Rs 10.52 crore, a significant contrast to the Rs 63.17 crore loss in the previous year, with total annual income growing to Rs 1,849.9 crore from Rs 1,409.66 crore.
Under the leadership of Founder and Managing Director Neetish Sarda, Smartworks marked its first year as a listed company with improved growth metrics, achieving full-year profitability under Ind AS. The company boasts a total operational portfolio of 16.1 million square feet across 66 centres in 15 cities, having secured a strong position with a contracted rental revenue exceeding Rs 5,200 crore and significant visibility for the upcoming fiscal years.
