IndianOil Holds the Line: ATF and Fuel Prices Steady Amid Global Trends
IndianOil maintains steady aviation turbine fuel prices for domestic airlines to shield consumers from global volatility. While international carrier rates rise, key fuels like petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG remain unchanged. Limited price revisions affect minor consumption segments, aiming for stability and aligning with global trends.
IndianOil announced on Friday that aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines will remain unchanged, despite rising global fuel costs. This move aims at protecting both airlines and consumers. The decision comes as part of a broader strategy by state-owned oil companies to maintain price stability.
The prices for domestic fuels, including petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinders, have also been held steady to shield the Indian public from international price fluctuations. According to IndianOil, no revisions have been made to the rates for these fuels, ensuring that consumers, who represent the majority of demand, are not affected.
However, adjustments have been recorded in the sector of industrial fuels and international airline operations. Nearly 16% of products saw price increases, particularly in industrial and bulk fuel segments, while an overall 4% registered price decreases. These measures aim to align domestic prices with global trends while maintaining economic stability.
