Avenue Supermarts: D-Mart's Remarkable Q4 FY26 Performance
Avenue Supermarts Ltd, owner of D-Mart, reported a 19.17% increase in net profit for Q4 FY26 at Rs 656.42 crore. Operating in 18 cities, the retail chain's revenue rose by 18.9% to Rs 17,683.86 crore. The company also hit a milestone with 500 stores open nationwide.
Avenue Supermarts Ltd, the entity behind the prominent retail chain D-Mart, has announced a notable 19.17% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 656.42 crore in the March quarter of FY26. This is up from Rs 550.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year, as per the latest regulatory filings.
The company's revenue from operations for the quarter surged 18.9% to Rs 17,683.86 crore, compared to Rs 14,871.86 crore a year earlier. Avenue Supermarts also revealed that total expenses during this quarter stood at Rs 16,797.86 crore, while the total income, encompassing other revenue streams, reached Rs 17,702.03 crore, reflecting an 18.83% rise.
Reflecting on the fiscal year ending March 2026, the retail giant achieved a profit of Rs 2,969.86 crore, marking a 9.7% growth. Managing Director & CEO Anshul Asawa highlighted the milestone of opening 500 stores nationwide and the stable performance amidst geopolitical challenges. Meanwhile, Avenue E-Commerce CEO Vikram Dasu announced the discontinuation of their online platform D-Mart Ready in one city, maintaining operations in 18 urban areas.
