Tragedy Strikes: Fatal SUV Collision in Kalpi
A severe accident in Kalpi resulted in six fatalities and four critical injuries. An SUV, losing control at high speed, crashed into a stationary truck. The victims, from Lalitpur district, were returning from Ayodhya. The injured have been hospitalized in Orai with critical conditions.

In a tragic incident in the Kalpi area, a high-speed SUV collided with a stationary truck, resulting in six deaths and four critical injuries early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 5 am as the vehicle, traveling from Kanpur, lost control, according to Superintendent of Police, Vinay Kumar Singh.
The victims were returning from a visit to Ayodhya and hailed from the Lalitpur district. Among the deceased were Swami Prasad Tiwari, aged 68, and others aged between 23 and 49 years. Their identities were released by local law enforcement at the scene.
The critically injured passengers have been taken to a medical college in Orai for urgent medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the cause of the vehicle losing control.
