Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that Uttar Pradesh has made tremendous financial strides since his administration took office in 2017. Highlighting the state's progress from a 'BIMARU' status to becoming revenue surplus, Adityanath praised the fiscal policies that allowed the region to undertake major infrastructure projects independently.

He cited the Ganga Expressway's execution without bank loans as a sign of this financial turnaround. Addressing a gathering, Adityanath emphasized that the government prioritized strong financial discipline and resource management, preventing excess debt that could have burdened the state's citizens.

In addition, the Chief Minister celebrated the merit-based recruitment processes resulting in nearly nine lakh government jobs. By eliminating malpractice and fostering transparency, Uttar Pradesh offers equal opportunities to candidates from diverse backgrounds, marking a significant shift in governance since 2017.
