Narrow Escape: Bus Fire Panic in Udaipur

A private sleeper coach bus with 38 passengers on board caught fire Tuesday morning in Udaipur, Rajasthan, causing panic among its occupants. The incident transpired on Balicha Road as the bus headed toward Mumbai from Rajasamand.
According to SHO Goverdhan Vilas Rajendra Singh, the driver noticed a minor fire emanating from the engine and promptly stopped the vehicle. This enabled all passengers, including approximately ten women, to evacuate before flames fully engulfed the bus.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and managed to control the blaze, though the bus was entirely destroyed. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, although several passengers lost their belongings in the fire.
