Brigade Enterprises Declares Bonus Amid Profit Decline
Realty firm Brigade Enterprises Ltd reported a 24% drop in net profit for Q4 2025-26, announcing bonus shares in a 1:3 ratio. Despite this, annual profits rose to Rs 724.76 crore, and pre-sales hit a record high of Rs 2,521 crore, reflecting strong market confidence.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd reported a significant 24% decline in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, dropping to Rs 190.70 crore. This dip contrasts with the previous year's Rs 249.35 crore. Despite the quarterly drop, the annual net profit rose to Rs 724.76 crore from Rs 680.47 crore.
The company announced a bonus share issue in the ratio of 1:3 along with a final dividend of Rs 2 per equity share, pending shareholder approval. The regulatory filing also noted a fall in total income during the March quarter to Rs 1,523.11 crore, compared to Rs 1,532.29 crore year-on-year.
Managing Director Pavitra Shankar highlighted that the quarter marked their strongest pre-sales period in FY26, with Rs 2,521 crore, fueled by new launches and strategic pricing. As Brigade enters FY27, it does so with a robust pipeline and a focus on execution.
