A tragic accident occurred in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Tuesday night, when two trucks collided on the Chatra-Gayaji Road. This unfortunate incident claimed the lives of two individuals from Bihar.

The deceased have been identified as Baiju Kumar, 25, who was driving one of the trucks, and his handyman, Sachin Kumar, 22. Both were residents of the Buxar district in Bihar, according to local police reports.

The collision happened due to a brake failure in the rear truck, which was carrying iron and collided with the truck ahead. The accident site was the Sanghri Valley, an officer stated. Emergency services swiftly dispatched both bodies to Sadar Hospital in Chatra for post-mortem examinations.
