IAMPL Expands: A New Era for Aerospace Manufacturing in Tamil Nadu
International Aerospace Manufacturing Private Ltd, a joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, has unveiled a 12-acre expansion at its manufacturing hub in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This facility aims to enhance India's aerospace capabilities by producing high-precision components for domestic and international markets.
International Aerospace Manufacturing Private Ltd (IAMPL), the collaboration between Rolls-Royce and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing facility at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Covering 12 acres, this state-of-the-art hub is set to become central to the production of jet engine components.
This strategic move aims to bolster India's aerospace capabilities by expanding IAMPL's capacity to produce world-class compressor and turbine components. The initiative is aligned with Rolls-Royce's plans to increase its sourcing from India and strengthen the country’s aerospace and defense ecosystem.
Key figures from Rolls-Royce, HAL, and IAMPL stated that the expansion underscores their commitment to 'Make in India', enhancing the nation's position in the global aerospace value chain. The facility aims to meet the growing demands of both domestic and international aerospace markets.
