Delhi's Green Transit Revolution: Ministers Lead by Example for Fuel Conservation

In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for fuel conservation, Delhi ministers are adopting public transport and reducing the use of official vehicles. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is championing this initiative, urging citizens to prioritize public transport and carpooling to combat pollution, congestion, and fuel wastage in the capital.

In a bid to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fuel conservation appeal, Delhi ministers have embarked on a notable transition toward public transport. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta urged residents to incorporate Metro and carpooling into regular travel, emphasizing environmental protection and national interest.

Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra embraced the Metro for his commute, while Education Minister Ashish Sood and several other notable figures opted for eco-friendly transit options, including e-scooters and DTC buses, echoing a broader governmental effort to reduce vehicle usage.

The Delhi government underscored its commitment to enhancing public transport and reducing emissions, with plans to expand the fleet of electric buses and strengthen Metro connectivity. The aim is to foster public participation in achieving collective national goals.
