GE Vernova has announced the launch of a new Center of Excellence (COE) for Power Transmission digital services in Casablanca, Morocco, marking a major expansion of the company's global energy infrastructure and digital grid operations.

The new facility, operational immediately, is designed to support GE Vernova's global power transmission service teams by delivering advanced digital engineering, equipment monitoring, maintenance support, and data-driven grid management solutions for customers operating power transmission infrastructure worldwide.

The announcement reflects growing international investment in digital energy systems as global electricity demand continues to rise and utilities face increasing pressure to modernise ageing grid infrastructure.

Morocco Selected for Growing Digital Engineering Talent

GE Vernova said Casablanca was chosen as the location for the new center due to Morocco's rapidly expanding pool of digital engineering and technical talent.

The facility will serve as a global support hub for GE Vernova's Power Transmission business, which forms part of the company's broader Electrification segment.
