In a heartbreaking accident, two 14-year-old boys drowned in the Dhatarwadi River located in Gujarat's Amreli district on Thursday afternoon.

A police official confirmed that the tragic incident took place when the boys, identified as Gaanu Parmar and Daksh Dodiya, went for a bath in the river near Khakhbai village.

Further investigations are underway to understand how the incident occurred, said Rajula police station inspector Vijay Koladar.
