India and Germany Forge Stronger Economic Ties Amid EU Talks

In a strategic move to fortify bilateral ties, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal engaged in high-level discussions with German leadership on Thursday. Goyal emphasized the importance of bolstering the India-EU trade partnership. During the meeting, both parties highlighted the need to enhance the business climate, facilitate greater investment flows, and reinforce collaboration in pivotal areas such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, mobility, and manufacturing. "Both sides identified manufacturing and renewable energy as critical components of future cooperation," Goyal shared on social media.

On the domestic front, a collaborative meeting between Minister Goyal and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh focused on the fisheries sector. They explored strategies to boost fisheries exports and improve the livelihoods of fisherfolk.
