Strengthening Ties: Pakistan and China Boost Digital Economy Collaboration

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed increased collaboration with China, following talks with a business delegation led by Qian Xiaojun of IBI Beijing United Technology. Plans to expand digital economy cooperation were discussed, highlighting the establishment of IBI's Digital Economy Headquarters in Pakistan to support small and medium enterprises.

During a meeting with a Chinese business delegation, Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, emphasized the strengthening business-to-business relations between Pakistan and China. The delegation, led by Qian Xiaojun, deliberated on extending ties in digital economy cooperation.

Sharif lauded the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and expressed enthusiasm for his upcoming visit to China. He noted the decision by IBI Beijing United Technology to establish a Digital Economy Headquarters in Pakistan as a significant step towards boosting bilateral industrial collaboration.

Qian Xiaojun shared that the headquarters aims to serve as the command center for Pakistan's economic transformation by supporting small and medium enterprises and enhancing their connection to the Chinese market. This initiative cements the enduring strategic partnership between the two nations.
