Auto Components Leader Uno Minda Sees Robust Profit Growth Despite Market Challenges
Uno Minda reported a 22% increase in profit after tax for the January-March quarter, driven by value-added features and volume expansion. With a 24% increase in annual PAT, the company emphasizes its diversified portfolio and strong growth in emerging products amid operational challenges.
Uno Minda, an auto components manufacturer, announced a 22% increase in its quarterly profit after tax (PAT) for the January-March period. The company's PAT reached Rs 326 crore, a notable rise from the previous year's Rs 266 crore.
The revenue for the quarter went up by 18% to Rs 5,336 crore, compared to Rs 4,528 crore in Q4 of the previous year. This growth was attributed to the expansion in both the company's core and emerging product lines, as well as value-added features.
For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, Uno Minda's PAT saw a 24% year-on-year increase, reaching Rs 1,166 crore, while the normalized revenue hit Rs 19,589 crore. The company's leadership attributes success to strategic foresights and strong performances across multiple verticals, including lighting and infotainment. A final dividend of Rs 1.75 per share has been proposed.
