Tragedy Strikes as Road Accident Claims Ten Lives in Uttar Pradesh

A tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri district resulted in the deaths of ten individuals, leaving families in despair across three districts. The collision took place on the Sisaiya-Lakhimpur National Highway between a passenger van and a truck. Authorities responded with condolences and compensation for the victims' families.

In a heartbreaking incident, ten people lost their lives in a severe road accident on the Sisaiya-Lakhimpur National Highway in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district. The collision involved a van carrying nine passengers and a truck traveling in the opposite direction.

Authorities confirmed that the accident struck families across Bahraich, Sitapur, and Lakhimpur Kheri districts, devastating their hopes and futures. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt condolences and announced a Rs 2 lakh compensation for each family of the deceased.

Among the victims were a school teacher, a young engineer, and a daily wage laborer, each leaving behind grieving loved ones. The accident also claimed lives of brothers and others on their journeys home, leaving communities in mourning.
